SO, WHAT EXACTLY IS OUR LIMITED EDITION SESSION: WESTERN WHIMSY?
We’re thrilled you asked—because this session is truly something special. Not only is it a limited-time western experience, but your child will also be one of our featured models, with their images used to help promote this exciting event!
SESSION LENGTH
Every session kicks off with complimentary hair and makeup to get your little hero or heroine fully into character. Styling takes about 15–20 minutes, depending on the look they choose. Then it’s off to the action! The session itself lasts up to 15–20 minutes, all photographed on one dynamic superhero-themed set.
Plan to spend a total of 30–40 minutes with us.

WARDROBE
We’ve got the costumes covered—thanks to the incredible Sandy Beers of Cricket’s Creative Apparel, who designs and supplies every piece for our Western Whimsy sessions. From cowboy hats to prairie dresses, each outfit is crafted to bring the Wild West to life in a way that’s fun, authentic, and picture-perfect.
If your little buckaroo has a favorite accessory—like boots, a hat, or a lasso—you’re welcome to bring it along! Just let a KLJ Studios Team Member know ahead of time so we can work it into the look.
NUMBER OF IMAGES
We’ll wrangle up 15–20 stunning portraits during your Western Whimsy session, each one ready to be purchased separately. No pressure, partner—you only take home the images you truly love.
ORDERING & PRODUCTS
About 5–7 days after your session, you’ll mosey on back to the studio for your Reveal Appointment. That’s when you’ll see your finished portraits for the very first time and choose which products fit your family best.
✨ Individual products start at $175, and collections begin at just $395.
SESSION FEE
Your ride into the Wild West is just $75, which covers one adult or two kids. Want to bring the whole posse? Add extra folks for $25 each.
🤠 But here’s the kicker: Book by August 23rd, and we’ll waive that session fee completely!
